Homemade Hazelnut Milk

You'll never buy nut milk again after you've discovered how easy it is to make and how incredibly better it tastes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw organic hazelnuts soaked at least 6 hours
  • 3-4 cups of water
  • A teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 2-3 dates softened in hot water

Instructions
 

  • Strain hazelnuts and discard water. Place all the ingredients in a high power blender and mix for about one minute. I use the 30 second function twice.
  • Place your nut-milk bag in a large bowl, pour your mixture in and press well to remove all liquid. Pour the milk in an air-tight bottle and keep in the fridge for a few days.

Notes

I put my nuts to soak before going to bed and make my milk in the morning.
You can find nut-milk bags made of organic fabric in health stores or online. Mine came with my blender. You can also you a fine mesh sieve doubled with a cheese cloth.
