These vegan banana and peanut butter popsicles are made with only 4 ingredients and are the perfect refreshing treat for this warm summer!
I’m on a popsicle spree! I’ve had the molds for a while already but my first attempt didn’t convince the man and I didn’t dare trying my hand again.
I finally did and luckily ended up with pretty delicious frozen treats. I spent the summer improvising fruit popsicles, creamy vegan vanilla popsicles and these vegan peanut butter and banana popsicles.
Not only are they very, and I mean very, simple but they’re also oil-free and sugar-free, for a decadent that’s healthy and made with only 4 ingredients:
- Plant-based milk
- Natural peanut butter
They’re also super creamy and dense, which I love! But if you’re looking for something a bit lighter, you could increase the milk or substitute a few tablespoons of maple syrup for the dates. As usual, I encourage you to adjust the recipe to your own liking.
Bonus Chocolate Version
I even adapted the recipe to make a chocolate version, because… chocolate! I simply added:
- Some more milk
- Fair-trade cacao powder
- A tiny pinch of salt
If like me you’re a fan of the peanut butter and chocolate combo, then you should totally dip your popsicles in melted chocolate for a result reminiscent of Reese peanut butter cups. And finally, you will need popsicle molds. I use these ones (though mine make 8 and not 12) and I find the resulting popsicles so pretty! But any mold will do, even silicon muffin molds. I also recommend a good-quality blender.

Vegan Peanut Butter and Banana Popsicles
- 1/2 cup plant milk cup
- 1/3 cup natural peanut butter creamy
- 3 deglet dates soften in hot water
- 1 frozen banana large
- 1 tablespoon plant milk
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder fair trade
- pinch of salt
